Gas Safe Charity – Carbon Monoxide Workshop
The Gas Safety Charity is running a free, interactive half-day workshop to help organisations become more aware of the sources, signs and symptoms of Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
Open to public bodies, charities and private care agencies, the training will introduce you to the
signs and symptoms of CO poisoning. This includes the numerous health risks associated with
frequent, low-level exposure to this odourless, invisible and toxic gas. For example, the potential increased risk of falls and signs of dementia.
Knowing the sources, signs and symptoms, and being able to manage the risks, will help organisations support vulnerable people and will ensure employers meet their Duty of Care to staff and volunteers.
This event is fully funded by the Gas Safe Charity and is part of a programme of activity to raise
awareness of CO poisoning in 2018. This includes an e-learning module and webinars.
