5 Ways to Well-being
This financial year we will be administering a new small grants scheme on behalf of Derbyshire County Council Public Health. There will be two opportunities to apply.
The first deadline is Monday 3rd July and applications will be assessed on Monday 17th July.
Voluntary groups and organisations can apply for a maximum of £3,500 for any project that addresses the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ particularly for people with a higher risk of experiencing mental health and wellbeing problems.
The ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ is a highly regarded set of evidence-based public mental health messages, which are aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of the population. The ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ are: ‘Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give’. They are applicable to our whole life and can be incorporated into the everyday by all of us, whether we have mental health and wellbeing problems or not.
If you think the aims of your group or organisation meet the above and you are interested in applying please contact Sarah Paisley at DDCVS op 01629 812154 or Heather Wesson at Derbyshire County Council Public Health on 07887 633620 for more information.
