Trustee posts with Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health
Are you interested in supporting people living with or recovering from mental health illnesses? Do you live in Derbyshire and feel passionate about equal services and support for all? If so, the Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health would love to talk to you about being a Volunteer Executive Trustee.
Currently, there are vacancies on the Executive Board and the organisation is seeking to appoint Trustees to join the small, professional, warm and supportive Board. They are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about the work, can think strategically and contribute their skills and experience to develop the organisation.
Ideally, but not necessary, candidates should have experience in one of the following:
- Health and Social care
- Fundraising / Finance
- Human Resources / Volunteer Management
- Strategic Planning
The role involves a time commitment of approx 5 – 8 hours a quarter to attend Board meetings (bi-monthly) and carry out other Trustee duties. The role is a volunteer post but out of pocket expenses will be paid.
For an informal discussion about the role of Trustee, contact the Chief Executive, Rona Rawson, on 01629 733915. The position of Trustee is subject to a DBS check and two references.
