Win cash for your electrical recycling

Derbyshire County Council spends nearly £38m each year dealing with the County’s waste and over £20m of this is spent on just sending waste for disposal. One way to cut these costs is to recycle more and help reduce the money we spend sending waste to landfill.

From 2 January until 4 February 2018 DCC is running a campaign to encourage all Derbyshire residents to recycle any old, broken or unwanted electrical items with the chance of winning a £100 cash prize.

So dig out those electricals and encourage friends and relatives to do the same.

The competition and campaign are being part-funded by Advantage Waste Brokers – the contractor which works on the Council’s behalf to collect and recycle electrical items taken to our recycling centres.
