Communications Officer vacancy at High Peak CVS
Salary: £23,836 Pro Rata 16 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract until January 2022 – with possibility to extend/increase hours depending on funding.
Location: Home Based – travel may be required throughout the High Peak
Pension Auto Enrolment scheme, 5% Employer contribution subject to Employee Contributions
High Peak CVS is a charitable organisation that supports community and voluntary groups across the High Peak area of Derbyshire. An exciting and vital opportunity has now arisen for a Communications Officer to join our small and dedicated team.
The Communications Officer will be a key member of the team and will focus on promoting and supporting the development of the voluntary and community sector in the High Peak.
The specific focus of this post is to:
a) Work closely with Public Health and other partners to support the COVID community messaging to ensure our communities are receiving up to date and clear messaging as effectively as possible with a particular focus on the hard to reach areas. This will also involve building a communication plan and process that will benefit the community of High Peak in the long term.
b) Evolve and develop our communications to create a much stronger connection to our vision, mission, impact and the values we work with. You will develop and implement processes to help us engage with our members and our local community.
The Communications Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role for an organisation who do great work.
