Eating disorder charity First Steps ED is offering fully funded CPD accredited training to any professional who works with children and young people in Derby and Derbyshire.

Derbyshire County Council is offering a further two free training sessions to volunteers and voluntary groups that support young people who identify with the LGBT+ community. These sessions aim to support youth groups to be inclusive and build confidence in supporting young people who identify with the LGBT+ community.
Delivered via Microsoft Teams and will last for around 1 1/2 hours. Dates:
• Tuesday 3 November, 13:00-14:30
• Tuesday 10 November, 17:30-19:00

And, due to popularity, Active Derbyshire/Active Notts have added two more dates for their Youth Mental Health Awareness training on Monday 19 October and Wednesday 9 December.
It is an introductory four hour course run by Mental Health First Aid England, which raises awareness of young people’s mental health.
Half price tickets (£25) are available to anyone who lives or works across the counties of Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire. Spaces are limited, so if you are interested you are advised to book ASAP.
