Update from Derbyshire Dales CVS
A quick update from us this week, you’ll see we have put a few new resources on the website as well as updating last week’s editions; we hope they will be helpful to you.
There’s a Dales Directory, a Guide to setting up a COVID 19 Support Group, a list of COVID 19 Mutual Aid groups in Derbyshire, a telephone helplines list, a guide to food shopping, and a list of free resources.
We’ve been ringing round our members to see how they are getting on and many groups have set up an informal telephone tree to keep in touch. We are going ahead with our Zoom Coffee Morning on Tuesday 7th April at 11.00, and hope to see some of you there. Best china is optional.
As mentioned in previous bulletins, we won’t be following up grant recipients for the Better Derbyshire Dales Fund with Evaluation Forms for those projects awarded in September and November 2019 and February 2020 at the usual 12 month juncture, as we understand that you will be unable to spend the grant within that time frame.
Also, we have taken a decision to merge the two rounds of the Better Derbyshire Dales Fund that would usually be Spring and Summer, into one Midsummer Round.
There is not a reduction in the amount we have to award, we will simply have 3 rounds this financial year rather than 4.
Please contact Jonathan or Sarah at Derbyshire Dales CVS if you would like us to email or post you a form and guidelines. As usual you can apply for up to £1,000 running costs and / or £5,000 capital costs.
We have continued to liaise with Dales Primary Care Network with regard to our social prescribing work and referrals are coming through to both Harriet and Debbie.
We are maintaining a limited presence in the office, and you can contact us as usual by phone or e-mail.
