Derbyshire Dales CVS provides services and runs projects that support disadvantaged, vulnerable and marginalised people. These have included signposting and support for disadvantaged children and families, work with people living in supported housing, a health trainer service, facilitation of the local Learning Disability Partnership, mental health-related support and training for voluntary and community groups and Community Development work in the more deprived towns and villages in the Dales.
Currently, our key projects are:
- The Better Derbyshire Dales Fund, we manage a small grants programme offering capital or revenue funding to community groups in the Derbyshire Dales.
- The Five Ways to Wellbeing small grant scheme, the aim of this fund is to improve the mental wellbeing of people living in Derbyshire by providing community-based activities and services that help people to access the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’
- Dales Community Multi-Disciplinary Team meeting (MDT)
