The Better Derbyshire Dales Fund is a small grants scheme for voluntary and community groups in the Derbyshire Dales.

The scheme is funded by Derbyshire Dales District Council, Derbyshire County Council Public Health and the Integrated Care Board, and has both a revenue and capital strand.

Groups can apply for up to £1,000 of revenue costs such as room hire, activities or sessional worker costs and up to £5,000 of capital costs such as repairs to a village hall or improving a community space.

We are pleased to confirm that the Fund is now open!

As usual we will have quarterly rounds, with closing dates below:

• 5pm Thursday 23rd April 2026
• 5pm Thursday 30th July 2026
• 5pm Thursday 5th November 2026
• 5pm Thursday 28th January 2027
