Debbie Rushworth is delivering our social prescribing service with Harriet Brown, Grace Innes and Zoe Beesley; linking individuals with community activities to support their mental and physical health and wellbeing and working with community groups to identify and fill gaps in services.

Debbie joined the Derbyshire Dales CVS team in January 2020. She has worked with a number of local and national voluntary sector projects including managing the local charity Home-Start High Peak and developing the voluntary sector in our neighbouring district, Staffordshire Moorlands.

Debbie has previous experience as a trustee of a number of charities providing family support, musical education, youth development and outdoor sports. In 2015 she graduated with a Foundation Degree in the Management of Community and Voluntary Organisations.

Currently, outside the CVS, Debbie enjoys encouraging our younger generation to flourish through her involvement in Scouting, Duke of Edinburgh and Forest Schools. She also enjoys exploring on her own adventures at any opportunity.
